Robot lamps that do your chores.
Launch Tweet: https://x.com/aaronistan/status/2041909335220220252?s=20 We’re building robots that automate everyday chores at home. Our first product, Lume, looks like a normal lamp. When needed, it transforms into a pair of robotic arms that can complete tasks like folding laundry. When it’s done, it returns to being a lamp, so your home feels unchanged, except the chores are taken care of. Our team comes from top robotics programs like Stanford, the University of Toronto, and Berkeley, with experience building hardware at Tesla, Nuro, and AMD, and design experiences at Apple and Harvard. The product is ready. Our lamps can fold laundry autonomously, and we are ready to begin manufacturing and shipping this summer. We have strong early demand, with hundreds of pre-orders and millions of dollars in waitlist. The product has generated millions of organic views online and has attracted attention from Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook, Will.I.Am, Dario Amodei and others.
