What's the story behind your company?
I co-founded Intuit Link and spent over a decade trying to solve tax workflow automation from inside the industry's biggest companies such as Intuit, and Thomson Reuters. I got close, but incumbents can only move so fast. Grove is me coming back to finish the job and disrupt what I helped build.
What inspired you to start your business?
I lived this problem for a decade. I built tools for tax professionals at Intuit and Thomson Reuters and watched the same inefficiencies persist year after year. Eventually I realized the only way to actually solve it was to leave and do it myself.
Why are you excited about your company/product?
Because I know exactly what the incumbents can't do and why. I spent years on the inside. Grove is built to go where they won't, automating the full tax return lifecycle in a way the big players have been too slow or too cautious to attempt.
