At Figment, we are creating the end to end ecosystem for telling infinite generative stories.
Figment is a studio and technology company that is pioneering an entirely new media format which couldn’t exist before AI — stories that can adapt in real time to become hyper personalized, interactive, and infinite worlds. We are building a comprehensive ecosystem for AI-powered interactive storytelling consisting of both a consumer-facing storytelling platform and professional-grade, AI-powered tooling for visuals + narratives. Our social-first consumer platform becomes a content engine where the best stories can be adapted into increasingly higher fidelity media. Our storytelling tools feel like toys, making storytelling a fun and approachable experience through the power of AI. Our vision is a complete, vertically integrated flywheel, consisting of content, tools, and distribution. Founded by veterans from Pixar and Epic Games, our world-class team combines deep expertise in AI and gaming with creative talent.

Shubha Jagannatha
Builder and artist with an undying love for great storytelling + world-building. Spent my career shuffling between innovative startups and studios, with the past three years at Pixar Animation Studios where I led the charge in crafting the technical wizardry behind our 3D filmmaking pipeline for five unique animated masterpieces. Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences with specializations in Computer Vision, Graphics, and XR from UC Berkeley. Chronically wandering the internet, sharing learnings & ideas everywhere online.

Eliot Chang
Product oriented designer and prototyper with a background in game design and social software. Product designer for social features on Fortnite's Player Journey team. Head of product and design at Glimpse (YC W20) and led them from 0-1 to acquisition. Led design on R&D initiatives at public gaming companies like Skillz.

Driven by curiosity and creativity, I often find myself at the intersection of storytelling and technology. With four patents and having pioneered the integration of AI-powered asset search into Pixar Animation Studios' pipeline, I view software as a powerful form of communication — not just between programmer and computer, but among all stakeholders seeking to understand and contribute to the software's narrative.
