Why are you excited about your company/product?
I believe that we are positioned to be able to not only pioneer a new format of storytelling, we are positioned to be able to upend all formats of media production. From books to movies to games we are building the tools, distribution channels, and experiences that will define the next generation of entertainment.
Can you share a distinctive achievement or highlight from your career?
When working at Glimpse (YC W20) I joined onboard as their sole design and product hire. At the time they were trying to pivot from being a stand alone virtual events matchmaking platform to building out the platform native social layer to Zoom's virtual experiences. We went from 0-1-acquisition in the 6 months I was there.
What sets you apart from others in your industry?
We are taking a first principles approach to tackling this problem. Many incumbents are jumping straight into the visual layer of storytelling, instead of focusing on the core, the narratives. We believe that by refining the text layer, we can refine the narrative layer of generative storytelling. Once we get there we can create a narrative SDK, then build out the visual layers that sit on top of it.
