Employee benefits - the second-largest cost center for employers - are broken. Confusing and costly for employees and companies, and shockingly manual for brokers. Legacy systems force people to sift through millions of lines of data across claims, utilization, and regulations. This is a $1.9T market stuck on manual - Avenir AI automates it. We built AI agents that deliver immediate savings and smart optimization across plans, vendors, and workflows. This level of intelligence and speed was not possible before. We started Avenir a few months ago and have already signed Fortune 500s and top-5 brokers - with $0 in marketing spend. A big problem needs the best team. I made my first sale at 10 and never stopped loving the craft of building. I’m a proud nerd - my people are nerds who ship real-world change. After MIT research on tech innovation for workplace wellbeing, I left Private Equity to start Avenir AI. In PE and IB, and through the early fintech revolution, I saw software rewire finance. My take is that legacy industries deserve the same overhaul - healthcare first. Also, I’m a gym rat with a 590 lb x 12 hack squat PR, I find my peace with kitesurfing and wakeboarding :)

Hi, I'm Ari, co-founder of Avenir AI (AI agents for HR/Benefits). I graduated MIT (Bachelor's and Master's), where I studied Computer Science and Cognitive Science. I previously built B2B AI products at Apple and Microsoft, including AI Experiences where Copilot was born. I researched in ML for Healthcare for 3 years at MIT's top AI labs: CSAIL and the Media Lab.
