CEO / Co-Founder at Trass Games
Jack Southard
Born and raised in San Francisco, Jack has been creating games for as long as he can remember. He started building in Scratch during middle school and quickly moved on to developing more complex projects. In high school, he teamed up with Nathan Jew, and together they built over 30 mobile and PC games—each one a unique and often ridiculous experience that had never been done before. In 2019, Jack discovered VR and was instantly captivated. He knew he could never go back to building traditional flatscreen games. Determined to push the boundaries of this new medium, he co-founded Trass Games, where he now leads as CEO. Alongside Nathan and the Trass Games team, Jack is known for co-creating Gods of Gravity and Yeeps Hide and Seek, two standout titles in the VR space. Today, he’s focused on shaping the future of social VR by turning Yeeps into the ultimate UGC platform—one that defines the next generation of immersive gaming.
