Co-Founder - CEO at Quanto
Anderson Petergeorge
👋 Hey! Quanto is the AI workforce for accounting firms to scale revenue and margins. Quanto started as a bookkeeping and accounting practice that scaled to 40 customers in just 6 months with only one accountant (me) by leveraging off-the-shelf AI tooling. This gave us a front-row seat to the pain points of bookkeeping and the challenges of running a firm. This is what has allowed us to build the platform solution for accounting firms directly to solve their capacity problems. Before Quanto, I spent worked in financial services as a CPA across the UNDP, CPP Investments, Scotiabank, and KPMG. I am grateful to be the first in my family to attend college. My thesis at Harvard explored the impact of financial education on social mobility an area deeply inspired by my parents' journey as refugees from Sri Lanka. I also completed my MBA at Oxford, experiencing my childhood dream of attending Hogwarts. Beyond Quanto, I'm always excited to connect on topics like entrepreneurship, financial education, meditation, yoga, and your latest book recommendation. Feel free to reach out!
Questions & Answers
What's the story behind your company?
I grew up as a child watching my whole family pour everything into starting a restaurant, only for it to fail because we never had real financial clarity. The financial anxiety that followed us pushed me to become an accountant. Later, after working in accounting and running a firm serving 40+ businesses, I saw the same thing everywhere: owners are building in the dark without clean books and a trusted advisor. That’s why we built Quanto. We’re building a world where no business fails from a lack of financial clarity, by giving accountants the superpowers to serve more business owners with less manual work.
