What inspired you to start your business?

Our inspiration for Messengage stemmed from our transformative experience at Meta. There, we spearheaded the growth of partnerships & business messaging across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram DMs, scaling from millions to billions of dollars for e-commerce and other sectors, significantly outperforming traditional marketing channels in driving sales and conversions. The pivotal moment came at the end of 2023 when Meta decided to open WhatsApp to the gaming vertical. Given our track record of success and deep understanding of the platform's potential, we recognized a unique opportunity. We knew we were uniquely positioned to replicate our previous successes in this new, high-potential sector. This realization led us to make the bold decision to create Messengage. Our mission is to leverage our expertise in messaging platforms and apply it specifically to the gaming industry, where we see untapped potential.

What problem or opportunity inspired you to start your company, and how has your vision evolved since then?

Gaming industry is facing a profitability crisis since iOS14 launch in 2021. For every $10 of revenue, only $1 profit. Even for direct to consumer tactics such as webshops, gaming companies are struggling to shift meaningful revenue off platforms and drive traffic to their webshop. This is because of lack of direct channels to their players, and gaming companies replied on distribution channels such as Meta/Apple etc to do so. This is where Messengage comes in, where we empower gaming companies to create and maintain a direct channel to their players through social messaging, and build long lasting relationships with their valuable players

How is your team uniquely positioned to solve the problem you're tackling?

This is the very challenge we were solving for at Meta for other verticals through messaging. We consistent delivered 30-100x ROIs through messaging channels, and grew partnerships & businesses from millions to billions. When Meta decided to open up messaging for gaming in 2023, we knew we are the best team to replicate the success in gaming
