How is your team uniquely positioned to solve the problem you're tackling?
Building media-tech requires two things most teams can't fake: deep tech and deep industry access. I bring the ML and full-stack engineering knowledge, Gabriela brings years of credibility, connections, and expertise in LatAm media.
What inspired you to start your business?
I pursued an MBA because I knew I wanted to start another company — I had the engineering background, I needed the rest. I focused my masters on computer vision and deep learning because I knew whatever I built would be deeply technical. When microdramas came into the picture, everything aligned: a format already proven in other markets, a Latin American audience perfectly primed for it, and AI giving us an unfair advantage to scale fast. We're hitting this market at exactly the right time — and we've already started proving it.
Why are you excited about your company/product?
We're building for a market I genuinely care about: Latin America. The format is proven, the timing is right, and the technology is finally there to do this at scale. It's time for Latin American tech companies to be known worldwide for high quality, innovation, and creativity. I believe Idilio will set a new bar for new LatAm based tech companies.
