Jonathan Pan
Jonathan Pan is Co-founder and CEO of Exia Labs. He has been leading product teams at companies like Meta, Amazon, Walmart, and Riot Games for over 14 years. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Product Management at Walmart's Innovation Team. He is also a Visiting Fellow at Hoover Institution, Stanford University where he conducts research on AI and wargames. Jon served as an infantry officer in the US Army and he deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.

What's the story behind your company?
Earlier this year, I reconnected with someone I used to serve with in Afghanistan and he is retiring after 30 years of service. He told me all the challenges he faced from simulations, modeling, and wargames. I dug into this and realized that we can save a lot of lives, resources, and time if we properly leveraged AI and games talent that is not currently within the DoD today. My best friend Serj specializes in AI/ML in games and we decided to spend a few years delivering effective software that our military deserves. That's why we started Exia Labs.
