Crater Studios is a next-generation game studio pioneering Micro-AAA—delivering high-quality games at rapid speed and a fraction of traditional costs.
Crater Studios is pioneering a Micro-AAA development model, combining the quality and depth of AAA games with the speed and efficiency of indie studios. By leveraging AI-driven workflows, modular development frameworks, and a data-driven approach to game incubation, we rapidly prototype, test, and launch high-quality games at a fraction of traditional costs. Our first title, Dwarven Realms, has proven the model’s success, reaching 150,000+ players and generating $850K in revenue within its first year. With a growing portfolio, including an extractor shooter and a collectible card game, we are building a scalable, interconnected ecosystem of games designed for long-term engagement. Backed by top investors such as A16Z Speedrun, Overwolf, Riot’s former CTO Scott Gelb, and CohhCarnage, Crater Studios is redefining how high-quality PC and console games are built, launching faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Noni Amnon Israel
Noni (Amnon) Israel is the co-founder and CEO of Crater Studios, where he is pioneering a Micro-AAA development model that blends high-quality game development with lean, scalable production. With a background in game development, technology, and business strategy, Noni previously worked at Epic Games, Apple, Blizzard Entertainment and Meta, gaining deep expertise in game design, player engagement, and platform growth. Passionate about pushing the boundaries of game development, he co-founded Crater Studios to prove that AAA-quality games can be built faster and more efficiently using AI-driven workflows, modular development, and rapid iteration cycles. Under his leadership, Crater Studios has raised $2M from top investors, launched Dwarven Realms to over 150,000 players, and is building a scalable ecosystem of interconnected games.

With over 15 years of extensive experience, Mari is a software engineer proficient in developing diverse systems, ranging from robust backend platforms to immersive gaming experiences. He has successfully guided multiple startups from inception to IPO, specializing in building scalable solutions and addressing complex technical challenges at every growth stage. Professionally skilled in leading game engines, including Unity and Unreal Engine, and is passionate about leveraging technology to foster innovation.
