Coop builds independent, industry-specific benchmarks so robotics teams can validate their models before they ship. Every task runs on real robots under a fixed setup, and we report results by robot, model, and task, so scores are directly comparable across model developers. We have published our benchmark results, are working with six top academic robotics labs including MIT CSAIL, Stanford SAIL, and Penn Engineering's GRASP Lab, and built over $225K in pipeline in under a month. We also open-sourced the first high-level motor controller built for the Unitree R1. The three founders studied together at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) and left engineering programs at Rice (BioE), Georgia Tech (CompE, AI/ML), and UPenn (M&T, AI) after their first year to build Coop.
