What's a memorable 'aha' moment you've had while building your startup?

Our advisor (who built the refferal program at Stripe), encouraged us in August to have Cedar proactively interview employees about their network to gather referrals. This became the turning point for us, and gave us a new level of pull from our design partners.

What sets you apart from others in your industry?

A lot of folks are building agents to automate recruiting. Recruiting is broken. We are not interested in fixing it. We are building a Superconnector Agent for the enterprise, with an amazing wedge (automating employee referrals) that enables us to be deployed to all employees and gather a ton of unique relationship data.

Why are you excited about your company/product?

There is so much value in real-life networks that goes unrealized. As networks grow, this value increases, but the ability for individuals to benefit from this value depreciates. We see an opporunity for a new category of "Superconnector Agents" that make large networks feel MORE intimate and valuable as they grow.
