Questions & Answers
Why are you excited about your company/product?
I am excited about Argu because it turns that vision into reality. With Argu, organizations don’t wait 18 months, they can instantly create vision agents that detect and prevent critical incidents in real time. That means our technology isn’t just scaling as a business. it’s actively protecting schools, communities, and critical infrastructure around the world. Building a company that can grow fast while literally saving lives, that’s what drives me!!
What inspired you to start your business?
We saw that despite millions of cameras, the world is still blind to critical threats. The inspiration came from knowing that if technology could detect and prevent severe incidents in real time, like school shootings, weapons detection, or theft, it could literally save lives. We started Argu because we believe advanced AI shouldn’t take 18 months to deploy. it should be instant, so vulnerable populations everywhere can be protected.
What's the story behind your company?
The story behind Argu is deeply personal. As a mother of three, I could no longer stand by and watch a world where vulnerable people, children in schools, families in cities, workers in critical sites, remain unprotected despite millions of cameras around us. We knew from our previous experience in video security that the technology existed to do better, but it was locked behind years of engineering and training. So together, we built Argu: a way to instantly give every camera a brain, to prevent tragedies before they happen. Argu was born from a belief that safety shouldn’t take years to deliver, it should be available right now.
