How is your team uniquely positioned to solve the problem you're tackling?
Our team is uniquely positioned to solve the problem of multiplayer interactivity, as we saw many attempts at this while partnering with various studios while at Unity, and saw the successes and failures that happens in that journey.
Why are you excited about your company/product?
As a father, I am excited to bring the joy I experienced when I was young, while playing with friends together. Those moments built the comradery and bonds we share to this day. This bond continues to ignite our love for games and particularly ones we can all play together to my kids, and their friends.
Can you share a distinctive achievement or highlight from your career?
I have several career achievements I am proud of, some of which include. Leading a team and collaborating with various departments to implement an AI driven, fully dynamic and interactive digital Alien named Orb, you can fully converse with in real-time for Unity's keynote at Siggraph 2023. Another was working on the #1 fighting game in the world, just after having been in a pivotal role for shipping 3 games in the top 100 of the app store. 2 of which were top 10 for many years, with 1 of those still in the top 100, over 10 years. Lastly, I find the one I am most proud of was developing the render feature for custom UI shaders, using shadergraph for Unity. It was the most sought after and user requested render feature for almost a decade. With this feature developers are now empowered to create a more enjoyable visual experience for their games.
